Description

On 5.03, for the third time in history, women's teams from all over Poland will fight for the title of the best futnet team in the country. The title is going to be defended by the team of Zawisza Rzgów, who in the last year’s very exciting five-set final defeated the players of Blokers Łódź. Bronze medals were won by players of FutnetGo Pabianice. In addition to the typical futnet teams, the tournament will be attended by players known from football, futsal and beach soccer pitches, including beach soccer Polish champions – Lady Grembach Lodz, and MKS Polonia Warsaw team will be led by the world vice-champion in teqball – Paulina Łężak.
The Championship will be played in a team system, which means that around a dozen of teams composed of 4-5 players will join the competition, and each match will include a single, double and triple duels.

The level of women’s futnet in Poland is raising year by year, which was proven by the performance of the Polish National Team at the World Championship in Spain last year, when the Polish team came in 4th place in double and triple categories and 5th in single.

The dynamic development of this still young in Poland sport discipline is also evidenced by the fact that the Fujitsu company has become the title partner of the third Polish Women’s Futnet Championship. ‘The support received thanks to this cooperation will allow us to take the next step in the development of the Polish Futnet, both in the organizational and sport field.’ – says Michał Kłosiński, coach of the Polish Women’s Futnet National Team. ‘The upcoming Fujitsu Polish Women’s Futnet Championship - Rzgow 2022 will be a real celebration of women’s sport. Dozens of players from all over Poland, including national team representatives, will compete in the spirit of fair-play for the title of the best futnet team in Poland.

In addition to pure sport emotions on the court, the event will be accompanied by various contests with attractive prizes from the partners of the championship for the participants and fans gathered at GOSTiR sport hall in Rzgów.

The event is organized under patronage of the mayor of Rzgów – Mateusz Kamiński.

The LIVE COVERAGE from the final phase (starts at 17.00) will be available on the Polish Futnet’s YouTube channel.
